So yesterday, Kenadie and I had a girls day. It was a fun day of pampering and girl time.
I had not had my nails painted or had a pedicure in so long, so it was so nice to be in that relaxing chair myself. I had a cute design done on my nails that I found on Pinterest. I smudged my little mint green hearts, but it is what it is. :)
Once we were finished being pampered, we headed over to IHOP for lunch. Kenadie's choice. She loves pancakes.
We had a couple more errands to run after we ate. The van was in desperate need of an oil change and I wanted to run to OfficeMax to just look at school supplies. I am a total nerd for school supplies.
I knew of just a few things the kids would need (I didn't have their school supply list) so I seen they were having some great deals so I grabbed them. Clipboards were only $3 each. Poly plastic folders were $.60 each. And the pink erasers were only $.01 each pack of 3. I did purchase a few other things, not pictured, but these were the best deals. I love school supplies! My kids only have 4 1/2 more weeks left of Summer vacation, then it's back to school. Time is flying!

In other news, I am finally back on track for my weight loss journey. I started this past Sunday, counting calories and cutting out sodas. It's working. I have lost 3.2lbs so far. I am excited. Me and my friend have started a weightloss blog together to journal our progress. I'll be posting over there all of my progress and any tips and recipes I have along the way.
